This one-semester course provides students with comprehensive information they can use to develop responsible, respectful, informed, and capable decisions about topics that affect the well-being of themselves and others. Topics will include personal health (nutrition, mental health and stress management, drug/alcohol abuse prevention, disease prevention, and first aid) and consumer health issues. The course may also include brief studies of environmental health, personal development, and/or community resources. Students will receive CPR hands on training, which meets the Arizona CPR Graduation requirement. *This course is a CGUHSD required elective for graduation.
