Welcome

Thank you for visiting my page!

Nearly 14 years in the US Air Force – being stationed in New York state, California, New Mexico, South Korea, and Florida – instilled in me a desire to teach others. I was our section’s head trainer for new personnel, and I found I really enjoyed teaching. A few years after I left the Air Force, I returned to school with the goal of becoming a teacher. After graduation, I landed a job teaching Senior English at Queen Creek High School.

I taught at Queen Creek for one year, then was offered a job teaching seniors here at Vista Grande. In my nine years with Vista, I have taught Senior and Junior English, Newspaper, Film Studies, Technical Theatre, Drama, and Film Studies. I am also co-director of the VG Theatre Company. My wife Kathy and I plan and execute all of the school’s theatre productions. We make a great team! It’s fun to be able to collaborate with people you obviously connect with.

After her retirement, my wife and I plan to move to New York City, our favorite place in the world!

Bachelor's Degree: Secondary Education in English - Ottawa University
