In accordance with that
announcement, our schools in the Casa Grande Union High School District will be
closed as of today, March 16th through Friday, March 27th. All students and designated staff in the Casa
Grande Union High School District will not return to work and school until
Monday, March 30th. During this school closure, all extracurricular
activities and athletics are also canceled. We will continue to monitor this
rapidly evolving situation and as we receive new information, we will continue
to make decisions in the best interests of our students, families, and staff.
Our district leadership team is working around the clock to develop and
hone our response strategy, regarding staffing, access to learning resources,
and maintenance of essential district services for the next two weeks and
beyond. Please look for frequent updates via email, our web site www.cguhsd.org and on social media.
Thank you for your ongoing
support as we work together to support the health of our students, families,
and the greater Casa Grande community.
